Dr. Brittani S. Washington earned her Doctor of Science degree in Information Technology from Towson University (TU) where she taught and served as a Course Coordinator in the Computer & Information Sciences Department for 3-1/2 years. She also became a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honors Society, and sat on technology professional panels. Dr. Washington also sparked up many conversations throughout the United States surrounding the topic of Web Accessibility in the Non-Profit sector. She developed free resources for Non-Profit organizations to use to make textorial and design changes on their websites in order to reach a community market that would allow them to expand their membership reach. Dr. Washington earned her Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University (BSU) where she focused the security and development of Information Systems. At BSU, Dr. Washington became a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi) and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society where she served as their Webmaster. “Choosing BSU was not a last resort, a mistake, or a convenience. Since I wasn’t able to attend a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) for my undergraduate experience I promised myself that I would do it for my graduate degree to highlight the great work that is happening in a predominantly African-American community.”

Dr. Washington earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Management from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) where she participated in many clubs, organizations, and programs that taught her how to embrace social interaction and exist in a world full of people with many different backgrounds. She worked 4 jobs where she went to before, in-between, and after her last class of the day in order to afford to pay for in-state tuition. “Coastal taught me the struggle of life.
